Born in Prince Rupert, Survived by his adoring wife Christine, children Deva MacKenzie (Richard Kristmanson), Taylor MacKenzie, Kelsey (Garrett) Leighton. Grandchildren Dylan MacKenzie, Zachery and Ozley MacKenzie, Kadex and Bella Leighton.
Born to Gordon (deceased) and May MacKenzie siblings Judy (Ron) Derry, Diane MacKenzie, Sandy MacKenzie. Numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins. Douglas was a friend to everyone! He would give you shirt off his back if it's what you needed. He was a man's man full of love, life, and laughter. You couldn't get a more devoted son, brother, husband, father, uncle, and friend.

Celebration of Life will be held at Port Edward Community Center on Saturday April 6th, 2024. 1pm to 3pm. Pot Luck - appetizers.
